Who is Rosario Safina?

For over 28 years, chefs at the finest restaurants have relied on one person to bring them the highest quality truffles, and truffle products: Rosario Safina. Rosario was the driving force behind the popularization of truffles in the US, and its transformation from elite luxury to everyday staple for millions of food lovers across the country. His depth of knowledge on the subject, along with the publication of his book “Truffles” in 2002, have made him a noted authority and frequent guest expert for the likes of Martha Stewart Living, the New York Times, Vogue and CNN.

How are da Rosario Organics truffle products different from others on the market?

All da Rosario Organics products are USDA 100% Certified Organic and made from real truffles, with no chemical ingredients, additives, artificial flavorings or color. Unlike most truffle products, which use chemically-derived synthetic flavorings, da Rosario Organics employs an exclusive, proprietary process to extract actual molecules from truffles – harvested from privately-owned USDA Certified Organic land in Italy.

How can you tell the difference?

Beware of ingredient labels using words like "aroma" and "essence" – these terms are not approved by the FDA or USDA for use as food ingredients. Avoid labels that cite truffle "extract," since the extraction process (squeezing) is physically impossible with truffles.

What is the source of da Rosario Organics products ?

Every product is made in our LOCAL USDA-Organic production plant in Long Island City, Queens using imported Organic ingredients from our partner in Italy: USDA Organic white truffles, black truffles and porcini mushrooms; USDA Organic EVOO; USDA Organic Acacia Honey and Sea Salt, and USDA 100% Organic Butter and USDA Organic Mayonnaise from the US.
