What a great evening, our table was four deep right from the start. The pictures were taken prior to the attendees arriving when everything looked picture perfect. We had our in house signage that was spread throughout the table calling out participating vendors. Each attendee received a copy of the WFM “tasting notes” that also included all our vendors, this was included in their event gift bag that Greenwich Hospital handed out at the end of the evening.
Attendee favorites at the tasting table was the truffle honey, we also had the truffle butter served with Artisan Flatbreads for attendees to sample and see the incredible flavor profile of the products.
A special passed selection from our Executive Chef featured a Crostini with roasted butternut squash, sautéed shallots, fennel, apple, fresh herbs and of course daRosario Truffle Butter.
This past Friday, March 1st, GRW was honored to be a part of Greenwich Hospital’s 2013 Great Chefs culinary event at the prestigious Westchester Country Club. For the past 28 years, this important annual fundraiser, benefitting Community Health at Greenwich Hospital (CH@GH) has been gathering together the finest restaurants, caterers, and wine & spirit distributors from lower Fairfield and Westchester counties for an evening of exceptional food and beverages to be enjoyed by more than 500 guests who attended this sell-out event.
